Jailhouse Conversion

The family member responsible for abusing my 86-year-old mother had a religious conversion while locked-up in jail.  How timely and convenient.  He is now free on bond and walking the streets.

This conversion reminds me of the many past religious experiences this same individual has had when they were in trouble!  A God so easily mocked is not.

I am also aware that this individual is not the only scoundrel to find either politics or religion as their last refuge.  Personally, I doubt seriously that a God would take kindly to being used as a fire escape!

Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than standing in a garage makes you a BMW.
